Aaaaaahhhh! It felt so good to get back to my stamp room. I'm still in physical therapy for my shoulder and praying that I won't need to have another surgery to manipulate my frozen shoulder. I'm thankful at least that I can get back to cranking my Big Shot and pushing down on my punches!
Sabrina is the September CCEE challenge hostess. Her first challenge this month is to create a card using birds and music. We didn't even have to use music stamps or paper; we could be inspired by a song. One of my all-time favorite songs is
Over the Rainbow. I love the lyrics and the beautiful melody.
I first stamped the Wildflower background image onto white card stock with Versamark. I then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Using the arc of a coffee filter, I sponged the various colors of my rainbow. Next, I used an oval Nestability to create my frame out of this rainbow panel. I stamped the sentiment onto white card stock and adhered it to the back of my oval panel. I dry embossed my bluebird with a music embossing folder. I made my ribbon out of paper.
