At the end of September, Sabrina (Cook22 on SCS), was the CCEE Stampers' challenge hostess. Her last challenge of the month was to use any technique we wanted to on our project. I've been wanting to try to the Masking Fluid Resist technique (here's a link to a great tutorial for this technique) for quite some time, so that's the one I chose for my design. I did have my card uploaded to our CCEE Stampers blog, but, again, just didn't have the time to get it uploaded to my blog.
This was my first time using the Masking Fluid; I got a little heavy handed with it in spots, but I still love the results. I white embossed the "Friend" sentiment.
Here's a complete list of the supplies I used:
Stamps: Leaves, Fall Trilogy by Rubbernecker
Paper: Early Espresso, Old Olive, Really Rust, Whisper White
Ink: River Rock, Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Old Olive, Always Artichoke, Really Rust, Pumpkin Pie, More Mustard
Accessories: Masking Fluid, White embossing powder, Versamark, heat tool, sponge daubers, green brad, Fancy Fan embossing folder, Memory Box Maple Leaf Die
It's a beautiful Fall day here, and I hope it's a beautiful day in your part of the world, too! Make each moment count.
