When my husband and I were out walking in our woods the other day, we noticed a squirrel working feverishly to gather the acorns off the ground, and I thought "this is his fall harvest" as he gathers his store for the winter months. That gave me my idea for my card today.
I stamped and colored the acorn images with Copic markers and hand cut them. I heat embossed the sentiment with brown embossing powder. My cards measures 4 1/4" square.

Watch out those squirrels don't try and get these acorns too. Fun card.
One beautiful Fall card, Charlene. Love the colors and coloring!
I saw a squirrel hanging off the peanut feeder in the garden last night, the little rascal! I love acorns - I always find the contrast between the textured cup and the smooth glossy nut so fascinating. I'm happy to see them on your beautiful autumn card.
Oh thank goodness! I thought there for a moment you were going to EAT those acorns! HeeHee! Really cute Fall card!
Like Anne, I thought you had an acorn recipe for us. LOL
I LOVE your card with the pretty acorns and the sponging really makes them and the sentiment pop out. Super Fall creation!
FABULOUS Charlene, I LOVE how you did your sponging.!!~
Charlene,
How pretty! I love Fall colors and your card showcases them so well. Your acorns popped up look wonderful!
I have squirrels in my yard ALL the time -- gathering acorns and other things. What a cute card.
a layered autumnal beauty....fab coloring and sponging....I won't repeat my story about squirrels from SCS, but I think you might hide this card or the squirels will be burying it getting ready for winter...the acorns look sooooo real
Beautifully done Charlene! The sponging adds a nice glow and that postage die cut ~most fabulous!
Perfect Fall card. Gorgeous details and colors. Have a great week!
