Vicky Gould continues on this month as the CCEE Stampers' challenge hostess. This week she gave us a color challenge to use orange, yellow, and brown, as well as using designer paper.
I used Stampin' Up colors in More Mustard (yellow), Pumpkin Pie (orange), and Chocolate Chip (brown), and my striped designer paper is from Stampin' Up's Regals collection.
I stamped my sunflowers from Heartfelt Creations Aztec Gold Sunflowers set with Versamark and heat embossed with chocolate brown embossing powder. I water colored them with the challenge colors, finishing off the center with brown glitter glue. I have the coordinating Blossom Two die cuts to cut the flowers, but I haven't quite mastered how to line the image and die up. If you have any pointers, I sure would appreciate it!
Please visit our CCEE Stampers' blog to see what the other members designed and to get the challenge details, if you'd like to play along in our challenge.
