Abstract Trilogy

Artful Home is the website Judy gave us for the Inspiration challenge on Splitcoaststampers today. I love this beautiful acrylic painting by Joanie San Chirico.

I heat embossed my images with white embossing powder on watercolor card stock. I then applied the various Gelato stick colors, spritzed with water, and rubbed the inks with my finger to blend them. I sponged on a little Adirondack Cranberry and Stampin' Up More Mustard. I really like how this turned out so I didn't want to cover it up with a bunch of layers. I simply added ribbon as an embellishment.

Stamps: Fall Trilogy by Rubbernecker
Paper: Lavendar Lace, Watercolor, blue (unknown)
Ink: Adirondack Cranberry; Stampin Up More Mustard
Accessories: white embossing powder, versamark, heat tool, Gelatos, ribbon

I'm trying to remember where I was last Saturday and what I was doing. I certainly never saw this or I'd have remembered it - it's so lovely! The warm red at the bottom is lovely with the cool purples and blues.
