CCEE Let There Be Peace on Earth

Lois is the July hostess for the CCEE Stampers' challenges, and, for this first Thursday in July, she challenged us to use three circles on our cards. My circles are my three stamped Earth ornament images embossed with gold embossing powder.

I still have some of the long ago retired Handsome Hunter card stock by Stampin' Up, which I paired with Very Vanilla for my design.  The sentiment is also gold embossed.  I used a Liquid Gold Extra Fine Paint Marker to outline my Labels 9 Nestability.  That panel is popped up on dimensionals.  It may be hard to see in my photo but I dry embossed the base Very Vanilla card stock with a trees embossing folder.  Added some gold ribbon and was done!

Please stop by the CCEE Stampers' blog  to see what my team mates have created.  Maybe you'd like to join us in our challenge.

Oooh, how elegant. Love the color combination and the gold edging is genius. And I'm coveting that embossing folder!

Those earth ornaments are perfect for the traditional "Peace on Earth" sentiment of your card.

Charlene, this is a gorgeous card. The gold embossing against the dark background is so elegant. Great way to get in the three circles, too.

Oh my - very stylish and elegant. I like the simple colour combination and the embossing on the white layer. The ribbon makes it look like a gift-wrapped present, too.
