I *heart* our Queen for the Day, Arizona Maine's, art work!! Angela is one of those naturally gifted stampers who has such an eye for great design and beauty. Unlike me, I don't think she's ever made an "ugly" card---LOL!! She also has a warm, kind heart reaching out to and encouraging other stampers with her comments. |
I chose to case her beautiful Harriet You Inspire Me card. Here's how I was inspired by her card:
I white embossed my hearts on Vellum card stock. I then dry embossed the vellum with my dotted swiss embossing folder. Last, I sponged Spun Sugar and Regal Rose inks over the center of the hearts. I attached the vellum to white card stock and fussy cut them. The reason I attached them to the white card stock is because I wanted to use my dimensionals to pop up the hearts, but those would be easily seen through the vellum. Each of the little hearts is also popped up on a dimensional.
Supplies I Used:
Stamps: Sweetheart, I {Heart} Hearts by Stampin Up
Paper: Pink Pirouette, White, Vellum
Ink: Stampin' Up Regal Rose and White Craft; Ranger Spun Sugar Distress Ink
Accessories: dotted swiss embossing folder, heart Nestability, white embossing powder, ScorTape, dimensionals, sponge dauber, corner rounder
