CCEE Tag It

Brenda (aka Benzi) is the CCEE Stampers challenge hostess for October. She gave us an easy challenge this week to use a tag on our card/project.

My mojo has seriously been lacking since my husband's illness.  He is getting better every day, but I still am taking care of most of the daily living activities needed to sustain our home.  Therefore, I haven't had much time to sit down at my stamp table and allow the creative juices to flow.  I really want to get back in the swing of things with my stamping, though, so I wanted to make some kind of card for this week's CCEE Stampers' challenge.  I chose to keep my design very simple this week.

This white fanciful flourish by Cheery Lynn Designs has been languishing on my stamp table for quite some time now begging to be used.  I paired it up with some Old Olive designer paper and Melon Mambo hydrangea punched flowers.  I used a small white tag with the Just-Rite "Thinking of You" stamp from their Just Because Set.  I really like how pretty the Melon Mambo looks with the Old Olive.

Thanks for stopping by!  If you'd like to see the designs of the other CCEE Stampers', please visit our blog.  Perhaps you'd like to play along with us!

I saw this and it gave me a smile. Oh, that Blogger...you just never know what my happen with a schedule. This just means we have a day longer to enjoy your gorgeous card. I like the flourish with flowers blooming all over it. Just delightful, and such a sweet tag.
I'm sure you are stressed and hope things continue to get better for your husband and you, too, very soon. I'm glad you got to play.

It's simply sweet, Charlene - your little tag with the flowers is darling. Maybe it's just the colours you used but this works as a Christmas card for me! I hope your DH continues to improve steadily. Hugs, Sabrina
