CCEE Pocket Frog

Kathy has challenged the CCEE Stampers' this week to make a masculine card.  I thought of little boys and how they keep all kinds of wonders in the pockets of their pants.  In this case, it's an Annual Happy Birthday Pass with a little froggie peeking out of the tear on the left side of the pocket.

I colored the frog with Copic markers (YG17 and YG23) and hand cut him in order to attach him to the inside of the pocket.  The little stars at the bottom are also a part of the Ticket Die-Namics stamp set from My Favorite Things.

I attached the ticket pass to a piece of hemp cord in order to pull it out of the pocket.

I hope you'll swing by the CCEE Stampers' blog to see what the team came up with and perhaps play along with us!

Supplies I used:
Stamps:  Ticket Die-Namics by My Favorite Things; Pocket Fun by Stampin' Up (retired)
Paper:  Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, White by Stampin' Up
Ink:  Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Real Red by Stampin' Up; Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  Ticket Die-Namic, hemp cord, brass brads, ric rac punch, dimensionals, Copic markers

How cute this is! I never would have used the frog on the side, but how clever you are to do it, so you could get the ticket in the pocket!! What a fun card in the bright blue and white.

I see you used a punch in this case, but I think a ric-rac die is certainly moving high up my wish list. I love, love the little frog peeking out, and the interactive removable ticket is a fun element.

Very cute and creative, Charlene. I love the little froggie as long as he stays right where he is. :-) The ticket is a great touch, too.

Oh Charlene, I love this. The Pocket Fun set was one of my very first SU! purchases. You certainly gave this set a fresh look with the frog peeking out of the side and all the neat details you added. I just love your design. Fabulous!

Love the way you attached the ticket. You are such a clever girl! Love the bright fun colors! I remember the days of being a little hesitant to stick my hands in the kids pockets on laundry days. You card makes me smile!! Fabulous work Charlene!!
