Tea at Windsor Castle

The rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain...

When I learned that we were having tea at Windsor Castle today with the Queen of England, I immediately called my friend Eliza for some lessons in manners and etiquette. She taught me how to speak like a lady and walk like a lady and hold my little pinky high while delicately sipping my tea with royalty like a lady!

So, in honor of my dear friend Cindy's 52nd week of Teapot Tuesdays, I hereby submit my CAS entry for admission to high tea at the castle! Congratulations, Cindy! You host the bestest tea parties, evah!!

I told Bertie that she had to be on her best behavior this week, even while standing in line at the castle with all of the others. I know she's really, reeeeeealllly tempted to flirt with those cute guards at the castle doors, but I told her she didn't want to ruin it for the others by getting kicked out before we even get in!!! Needless to say, Bertie won't be standing too close to Schirmcat because she really is the naughty one of the group, and Bertie can be led astray so easily.

Cindy's offering some fabulous candy on her blog if you play in her challenge this week in honor of her one-year anniversary of Teapot Tuesdays.

Well, I better finish getting ready and get on over to the castle. I hope you can join us! If you go over to Splitcoaststampers and do a keyword search on MMTPT52, you can view all the cards everyone made, too!

uh oh....I just heard a rumor that Bertie was a bad girl....she didn't talk or bother the guards, but word has it that she dropped something near them on purpose so she could see if what she heard about their kilts was true.....she went down low so she could check it out......and....the Queen caught her......she is now in the Tower of London......and they do not stock M & M's there so she is very, very sad and skeered.......and everybody she would call for help is at the tea party.....so she is stuck there....uh oh......

by the way, Char, Char....fabulous card.....CAS and pretty

Whose kilt you lookin up Bertie??
I am slightly embarrassed but having too much fun standing in line with you...!!
I really hope you aren't stuck in some lonely tower with no m&m's...wouldn't that be the Tower of Doom?? I know you're okay, I saw you lifting your pinky at the party...think Joanne is just a bit confused...hee.
Love your pretty teapot Charlene, you do make this one fun party...well you and all the others, but especially you!!

Well, I heard that you made off with the Queen's necklace and it was so easy to do, you went back for her crown. Stuffed it under your dress thinking it would look like a big butt Bertie butt and it does!

Huge mistake though! You shoulda brought more M & M's, the trail of them that you left to get you back outa the castle has been scarfed up by the butlers twin boys! They are redheads and full of it! Now they are full of M & M's!

Bertie is lost in the castle with a crown up her dress. Looking up the kilts was such a good idea to help you plan your burglary and to determine if the crown would fit up under someones dress, or kilt!

You know I love your card! And you learned well from Eliza, the one who got kicked out of finishing school! Hee!
