Design and Dazzle

I fell in love with the Design and Dazzle website for our Inspiration Challenge on Splitcoaststampers today!!! Omigosh, those baby nursery rooms are amazing and what I wouldn't have given to have a beautiful bedroom like the ones shown for little girls and teens when I was growing up! We didn't have much money when I was growing up and there were five of us children, so I never did have a pretty little bedroom like many of my girlfriends did. However, I have also learned to appreciate everything I have obtained over the years as an adult.

Here's the nursery room I settled on for inspiration. And here's my card.

Every image on this card is either black or white embossed with the exception of the dashes for the flight of the butterflies which I used a black marker to draw. I attempted to do embossed shadow stamping with my sentiment.

I hope you are having a wonderful Saturday!

Stamps: Best Blossoms (Stampin' Up); Petals and Stems (Verve)
Cardstock: Pink Pirouette, Black
Ink: White Craft; Versamark
Accessories: white and black embossing powders, square steps corner punch, white gel pen, black marker

Super sweet Charlene, it look looks like a spun sugar background...and so much like the inspiration room! I drooled over these rooms, too, but no card to show for it today! I love yours though!!
I would have loved a room like this when I was little too, well, I would love a room like some of these even now!! :)
