CCEE Time

Did you know that there's a day called Punch the Clock Day? Yep. It is January 27. This tidbit of information is brought to you by my friend Joanne, who is this week's CCEE Stampers' challenge hostess. She challenged us to make a masculine card with some connection to time.

I had this designer paper that shows various clocks in my stash. I dry embossed it with a Happy Birthday embossing folder and then lightly sponged gray ink over the raised portions. I die cut one of the smaller clocks for my circular sentiment panel. I distressed the edges of the various card stock layers. The sentiment and mouse/camera image are from Clear Art Stamps called Mouse Party.  I colored the mouse with Copic markers.  I turned back opposing corners of the designer paper and adhered in place with silver brads.

Check the CCEE Stampers blog if you'd like to play along in our challenge or see what the other team members created.

You coloured the mouse! I was sure you'd pieced him. The pop of colour is fabulous against the monochrome background - and that's perfect for the old-fashioned camera. What a cute card, it's really made me smile.
