CCEE Precious One

Happy New Year, everyone! Today kicks off the start of the CCEE Stampers' challenges for 2013, and our January hostess is my good friend, Joanne. Joanne challenged us to make a baby card in honor of the new year.

I actually made my card back in December after learning that a former co-worker of mine had her first baby, a sweet little girl with the pretty name of Amelia.

I used a template that I found at Splitcoaststampers, which is one of the benefits of being a Fan Club member!

I used Glossy Accents with a light sprinkle of silver glitter on the heart-punched faux buttons.  I used 1" and 3/4" punches to create the white collar.

Supplies I used:
Stamps:  Cute Converse (Stampin' Up)
Paper:  Pink Pirouette, White, pink and white polkadotted designer paper
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories:  dress template, scalloped heart Nestability, white grosgrain ribbon, heart punch, 3/4" and 1" circle punches, square lattice embossing folder, Glossy Accents, white marker, white pearls, silver glitter, dimensionals

I made this second baby card in honor of a fellow tea potter from the Teapot Tuesday challenges, APandi (Marilynn), who just became a grandma to twins!  A boy and a girl.  I paper pieced the Bundle of Joy bears.

Stamps:  Bundle of Joy (Stampin' Up)
Paper:  Barely Banana, American Crafts dp in pink and blue
Ink:  Versafine Black
Accessories:  Stitch, Doodle, Dot piercing template, paper piercer, Itty Bitty Banners die, ribbons, Chevron embossing folder, buttons, dimensionals, Big Scalloped Squares Nestability

What an adorable template, and isn't that little dress perfect for a little one named Amelia! Great job, Charlene!

Oh my, Charlene - that is just amazing! I love the extra polka-dotted layer and the heart sentiment, but the buttons are my favourite part :D. I'd love real ones like that for some of my knitting.
