CCEE CAS Sympathy

My good friend, Joanne, our January CCEE Stampers' challenge hostess, has challenged the team to make a Clean and Simple (CAS)Sympathy card this week. I love CAS cards, especially for mailing!!

I used Stampin' Up's Thoughts and Prayers for my design today.  I stamped the tree image and sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I die cut the image with an oval Nestability, backed it with a lacy oval Nestability, and adhered to my Crumb Cake base.  Clean and Simple!!!

If you'd like to join us in our challenge and/or see the designs my teammates created, please visit our CCEE Stampers' blog!

So pretty, Charlene, and a perfect sympathy card. If I'm not mistaken, three of us today used this same set, but all in a different way. It sure is a winner for a sympathy card.

I like the non-traditional kraft color for a sympathy card. Very pretty.

Wow, Charlene - fabulous! You and Brenda both used the same set but different stamps, and they both look wonderful. The black against kraft is so stylish looking. A perfect CAS creation.
