Rubbernecker Extension and Sweet Joline

Special note about Rubbernecker Stamps blog hop:

Due to some ISP issues, Rubbernecker has extended it's blog hop until Friday!  Get the full message here.

Put flowers around your main image! That's the challenge that Shirley gave the CCEE stampers this week.

Just for You Joline by My Favorite Things.  Isn't she sweet?  Every time I look at one of these Joline images, the song Jolene, by Dolly Parton,  comes to mind, although I didn't give my Joline auburn hair and emerald green eyes.  Here are the lyrics, in part:

Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene
Im begging of you please don't take my man
Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene
Please don't take him just because you can
Your beauty is beyond compare
With flaming locks of auburn hair
With ivory skin and eyes of emerald green
Your smile is like a breath of spring
Your voice is soft like summer rain
And I cannot compete with you, jolene

It's just one of those songs that gets you tappin' and a clappin'!

Joline's dress is paper pieced, she's colored with Copic markers, and her shoes are highlighted with red stickles.....just like Dorothy.  My yellow flowers are medium sheer by CreativeImpressions.  The sweet flower in Joline's hair, as well as the one she is holding, were colored with Fuzzy Peach and Black Orchid Twinkling H20s.  Here's a complete list of the supplies I used:

Stamps:  Just for You Joline by My Favorite Things; sentiment from Stampin' Up's retired So Very set
Cardstock:  Whisper White, Riding Hood Red designer paper
Ink:  Memento Black, Adirondack Lettuce and Pesto
Accessories:  Copic markers, Twinkling H20s, red Stickles, oval punches, Labels Ten Nestabilities, red pearls, fence border punch, embossing folder, dimensionals, mini glue dots, paper piercer

Please visit our CCEE Stampers blog to see what Shirley, Cindy, Tosha, Frances, and Joanne came up with for this challenge, as well as get the details for playing along with us!

That's Jolene? Why does she look so shy? Ah ha! That is her secret, all sweet and shy looking! That's what draws the men in! You keep her away from Women of the Wild Wild West, Bertie! Don't want her acting all shy and taking my man away! She can have Pat Smethers cousin! Snort!

I just admit she is looking really cute on this awesome little floral card you made, now my wanders to what she REALLY looks like! Snort!
