Wintry Cards

I guess I was in the mood to make winter/Christmas cards tonight.  I made one for the Clean & Simple challenges to do the faux lettering technique on our card, and the other one I made for the Technique challenge to split our images.

I used Bashful Blue for my "Peace, Hope, Love..." background and Buckaroo Blue for the little snowman embossing folder. I love how fast this simple card came together!

My Snowy Night scene was white embossed on Night of Navy cardstock. Dazzling diamonds were added to the tree limbs. I sprayed the champagne shimmer mist over the entire navy panel. I wove the silver ribbon through my panels.

I always love that little Provocraft snowman, but I don't think I've got him out this year yet. And that second card is WOW. The white circle makes me think of a moonlit scene, and cutting it into panels adds the feeling of looking out though a window. So chic!!

Charlene, these are both fabulous!! I don't make nearly as many Christmas cards as you do...I'm so inspired by your card stash, though!
The split technique is not one I've tried...will have to look into this one, as I have an idea...hmmm...Always nice to visit you here, friend!!
