Rrrrrruffles!!

Remember the old commercial "Ruuffffles have rrrrrridges!"  for Ruffles potato chips?  Shirley has challenged the CCEE team to make a design with some kind of ruffle on it.  We could use ribbon, paper, or any kind of material.   I don't own a sewing machine, so I tried to ruffle some ribbon with sticky strip tape....no workie for me.  I tried to ruffle some paper....no workie for me.  I thought about buying some Ruffle potato chips and gluing some to my card.....no workie for recipient, I'm sure.  Finally, I pulled out my paper crimper and ruffled the ridges on my cardstock and used my wavy punch for a ruffled edge......workie for me!!!  Do you think Shirt will accuse me of cheating?  heh-heh.

Isn't this image adorable?  She's called Sweet Thing by Penny Black, and I colored her with Copic markers.  The buttons are by Basic Grey and the designer paper is Welcome Neighbor by Stampin' Up.

Stop by our CCEE blog, if you get a chance, and check out the ruffly designs my friends, Shirley, Cindy, Frances, Tosha, and Joanne made.  We'd love it if you played along with us, too!

LOL, I bet glued-on Ruffles would NOT work for the recipient - they'd be expecting a gorgeous card like this seeing your writing on the envelope, not some smashed-up crumbs.
