CCEE

Frances is the February challenge hostess for the CCEE Stampers, and she's kicking off this first Thursday in February with a weather challenge in honor of Weatherperson's Day, which was on February 5.  She challenged the team to create a card that features some sort of weather, e.g., sun, clouds, rain, snow, etc.

I went with clouds and rain for my theme, using my Friendship is Shelter Jolinne image by My Favorite Things (MFT).  I paper pieced her umbrella, jacket, and boots, and colored the rest of the image with Copic markers.  I also used my MFT Clouds Die-namic, dry embossing the largest one with a polkadotted embossing folder after I stamped the Forever Friends sentiment.  The background designer paper is also cloud themed.

Please visit the CCEE Stampers' blog to see what the rest of the team members created and perhaps join us in our challenge!

Supplies I used:
Stamps:  Friendship is Shelter Jolinne by MFT; sentiment from The Journey set by Gina K
Paper:  White, cloud dp
Ink:  Memento Tuxedo Black, Baja Breeze
Accessories:  copic markers, Mesh on a Roll, clouds Die-Namics, Labels 23 Nestabilities, dimensionals

  2. Love your paper pieced image and the sweet bunny...just adorable.

You sure don't have to tell me that is rain and clouds. I recognize them. Ha That's all I've seen since the middle of December. Although, we've had some pretty days this week...about to end, though.
    Hope you're having sunny weather!

  5. What a sweet image. I love the way she's sheltering her little rabbit under the umbrella. I'm amused at how much rain we have presented on our cards this week - it must be after all the heat last week, because goodness knows it sounds as if most of us have more than enough in real life just now. At least your skies are lovely and blue despite rain, and not our interminable grey!!
