CCEE Paper Piercing

Can you believe it's the last day of May already? Whew! This month sure did fly by fast.

Today's CCEE Stampers' challenge is my last one as the May challenge hostess. I challenged the team---and YOU---to make paper piercing the focus of their card/project. I used an Ecstasy Crafts piercing template for my design around the outer frame, as well as around the sentiment panel.

Here's a closer view of the pierced design.

I stamped Rubbernecker's 2012 Collage-floral set 1 image in a soft shade of pink and then stamped this awesome friendship sentiment--2012 Sentiments #1-little things--in Versafine black over the flowers.

Please visit the CCEE Stampers' blog to see the creations my team mates made and get the simple details for joining us in our challenge!

Here's a photo of the Rubbernecker images I used with a complete list of supplies following.

Supplies I used:
Stamps: 2012 Sentiments – little things (#629-07) and 2012 Collage Floral Set 1 (#645-01) by Rubbernecker
Paper: White, designer, Taken with Teal
Ink: Versafine Black; Stampin’ Up Soft Sky, Taken with Teal
Accessories: paper piercing template, sponge daubers, pink ribbon

  2. Wow!! What a fabulous frame, and what patience too. My piercing tool was bent, so I was reduced to a needle in a cork which wasn't so easy to use.
    That's a great challenging, thought-provoking sentiment, too.
