CCEE1214 - Embossing Folders

Cindy Haffner is our April CCEE challenge hostess and she challenged us to use our embossing folders today!

I first stamped my Bubble Vine image, using Soft Suede ink, onto my Hot Off the Press designer paper and then embossed the paper with a floral/leaf embossing folder.  My ribbon wreath was made following the instructions from this tutorial.  I saw a beautiful wreath that Cathleen Torina had made, so I wanted to give it a try, too!  I topped the wreath off with a small flower I made using my boho blossoms punch out of the same designer paper.  I adhered the wreath to my paper with pop-up glue dots, but you could also use Scor Tape.

Please check out the creations my team mates did on our CCEE Stampers' blog and play along with us, if you can!

Supplies I used:
Stamps:  Bubble Vine and partial sentiment (I used the words Happy Birthday from the larger sentiment Birthday Wishes from all your fabulous friends with a marker) by Rubbernecker
Paper:  Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink, Hot Off the Press designer paper
Ink:  Soft Suede
Accessories:  pink grosgrain ribbon, boho blossoms punch, Nestability tag die, pink brad, pop-up glue dots, Scor Tape, floral/leaf embossing folder, corner rounder

  5. Wow, Charlene, how gorgeous! I tried a ribbon wreath - ONCE - it looked like my cats had taken the ribbon, played with it, and left it in a heap! Your card really is beautiful and elegant!
