CCEE Fun and Summery

Dawn went fairly easy on us this week by challenging us to make a fun and summery card. I immediately thought of these cute ice cream bars/cones/popsicle images by H&M Stamps. Although I rarely eat ice cream, there's just something about going to the local ice cream shop on a hot summer day to enjoy a cold treat. I also knew that I wanted to make this a Clean and Simple (CAS) card.



I colored my images with Copic markers and colored the alternating letters on the Happy Birthday sentiment with my SU regal rose, chocolate chip, and only orange markers. Fast and easy and a refreshing break for me from laboring over sketch designs and layers and embellishments and on and on and on. LOL!

    You don't care for ice cream? It's butter crunch for me!! I love your summer treats, and the sentiment in a variety of colors!! A perfect CAS/summer card!!

    What a fun summery card!! Love your icecream card. The different colors on the letters on the sentiment is beautiful!! Gorgeous!

    This is perfect for a summery card. I don't eat ice cream either. It hurts my teeth. I love the way you stamped the Happy Birthday. Great job Charlene.
