Mercy Mercy!

It's the Featured Stamper challenge on Splitcoaststampers this week, and today we honor Mercy Kerin, a wonderfully talented stamper, by casing one of her creations. I chose her beautiful Great Friend card:

We're required to change two or more things in our casing of a Featured Stamper's card. I changed colors, stamps, used metal dots, altered the paper piercing in the corners, and used the oval all punch.

I colored my butterfly with Stampin' Up's Cameo Coral reinker and a watercolor brush, adding depth of color for shading by using less water on my brush. I covered the butterfly with crystal effects and a pinch of dazzling diamonds.

Congratulations, Mercy! I hope you're enjoying your special day!

Stamps: God's Beauty, Oval All, Pocket Silhouettes

Cardstock: Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Whisper White

Ink: Soft Sky, Tuxedo Memento Black, Cameo Coral

Accessories: metal dots, oval all punch, crystal effects, dazzling diamonds, dimensionals, paper piercer
