Challenge Addict

I must admit that I am a cardmaking challenge addict! I love all the various color, sketch, and technique challenges, as well as special challenges friends and fellow cardmakers post on their blogs. My card today is for the sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers and Mothermark's Teapot Tuesday challenge. Cindy's teapot is all white except for the brown handle. You can check it out on her blog at mothermark.blogspot.com.

I needed to make a masculine birthday card for my nephew, and I have to tell you that masculine cards are always my toughest challenge. The brown and white combo in the teapot seemed to lend themselves well to the masculine card I have to show you today. I just love this Cute and Curly stamp set that you can buy as a bundle with Stampin Up's curly label punch. The punched label is raised on dimensionals, and I outlined the curly shape with Close to Cocoa to create a faux matted look against the white distressed stripes embossed panel underneath.

I'm so glad you could stop by today, and, as always, I appreciate your comments!
